Phase II of Remote Learning

In accordance with Gov. JB Pritzker’s Executive Order 2020-15, which “requires all individuals currently living within the State of Illinois to stay at home or at their place of residence.” Due to that fact, ESD 159 will continue to implement Phase II of Remote Learning starting Tuesday, March 31 until in-person instruction can resume.

District Launches School News App

Elementary School District 159 is rolling out a new communication tool, School News App. The mobile app is a way to provide information about activities, events and news impacting our school community.

The school community can opt into receiving information by adding the app to their device. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices. Click on the Download File Option for step by step instructions.

Saturday Coding Class

The district is offering a FREE computer coding class for students in grades 3-5. Students will learn 21st century skills; critical thinking and problem solving. The maximum class size will be 25 students, so don't wait. Click on link above for sign-up form.
