District 159 Celebrates 150 Years

District 159 celebrates its 150th Anniversary, with a day of reflection, fun and give aways, to help prepare students for the start of the 2019-20 school year. The day was kicked-off with a parade, followed by speakers who reflected on the districts history, music by Southland College Prep band and continued with fun filled activities for students and a resource fair for adults.

School Hours Have Changed

Our school hours have changed slightly this upcoming 2018-2019 school year. The elementary school hours are now from 8:30 am to 3:05 pm. Colin Powell Middle School hours are from 7:45 am to 2:30 pm.
