Please read the updated return-to-school information from Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Mable Alfred.

We are also providing the link to consent for the COVID-19 Testing and Opt-Out links below. If you have difficulties with the link, you may copy and paste the link into your browser. In completing the consent form, you may bypass entering your social security number and passport information by hitting return.

Back To School Testing

Happy New Year! We have made it through another year of COVID-19.

This message comes amid an extreme increase in the number of persons, especially children contracting the COVID-19 the Omicron variant. We have been monitoring the latest data to help prioritize the health and safety of our staff and students.

Vaccine Clinic Day Party

Elementary School DIstrict 159 and MTVAC will hold a vaccine clinic party, on Saturday, December 18th from 9am-3pm at Colin Powell Middle School. See flyer for additional detail.

Change in School Calendar

Elementary School District 159 has made an adjustment to its 2021-2022 School Year calendar. All school sites will be closed on Friday, November 12th, Monday, November 22nd and Tuesday, November 23rd. Click on the link" Change in School Calendar" for detailed information.

Great News!!! Along with the American Bus Company, we have been working on a plan to address the busing crisis affecting our schools. The plan includes steps to ensure all students are home before dark as we move into Daylight Savings Time.
