A back to school welcome parade and rally, Saturday- August 27th from 10am-3pm. I’m looking forward to working with the faculty, staff, families, community and students as we co-create a new path forward with a focus on academic excellence, well-being and belonging.

Please join us on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 6:30pm for our Band Concert! See performances by 5th Grade Beginning Band, 6th Grade Cadet Band, 7th Grade Band, Jazz Band, 8th Grade Band, and the CPMS Choir!

Mask Wearing Now Optional

Greetings ESD 159 Families,
Last Friday evening, State Superintendent, Carmen Ayala, sent out a correspondence announcing the governor’s decision to make mask optional for all schools and school districts starting February 28th. The District will no longer require anyone to wear a mask but is highly recommending all students, staff and visitors to continue masking. The District will continue to exclude those individual testing positive for COVID 19.

CONTINUATION OF COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS (REVISION

Late on Friday, February 4, 2022, a Circuit Court judge in Sangamon County, IL issued a temporary restraining order against Governor Pritzker prohibiting enforcement of certain executive orders related to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
