**Continue to practice #127 (Variations on a Theme by Mozart), #131 (Symphony No. 9), and The Last Dragon. Remember these key practice tips:
Even just 20 minutes of practice a day can dramatically improve your skills!
Practice Break Down:
-5 minute Warm-Up (scales on pg. 42, favorite Red Book song, etc.)
-10 minute Practice (pick ONE SMALL SECTION of music as your goal…don’t always start at the beginning!)
-5 minute Cool-Down (play through familiar material to keep it fresh)
Our final concert of the year will be THURSDAY, APRIL 23rd at 7:00 pm at CPMS. Keep practicing and see you there!
Thanks for your continued support! Ms. Perry can be contacted at (708) 720-9734 (direct line to the band office) or jperry@dist159.com with any questions, comments, or concerns.
