Technology Support
The District continues to strive to offer its students, staff and the community it serves the best technology available to support education and enhance the learning experience.
Recently we have made many additions to our technological landscape to improve student achievement: added the Parent Portal modules, purchased interactive whiteboards for classrooms, piloted the use of e-Readers and iPads as instructional tools, improved our wireless infrastructure and upgraded all computer equipment in the computer labs at the elementary schools with the latest technology. Additional laptop mobile carts were purchsae to allow for anywhere access to technology and information.
The District understands that anytime is a good time to learn. To support that end we offer our students access to out computing environment 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Addtionally, the District understands the importance the community plays in education and we continue to look for ways to build a stronger partnership with members of our community. We continue to offer learning opportunities to community members. In the past year, we have offered workshops covering the following areas: Basic Interent Usage, web page design, and an overview of business productivity tools.
