Veteran's Day Assembly

Neil Armstrong Elementary held a Veteran’s day assembly in honor of the men and women of the armed forces who with unconditional hearts of courage, risk their lives for the people of this great nation.

The colors were presented by Sergeant First Class Christopher N. Narvaez, Sr, and SSG. Leonard Butler. Sergeant First Class Christopher N. Narvaez, Sr. has a daughter who attends our early childhood program, a child at Marya Yates, and two other children at Colin Powell Middle School. Our guests also included Regional Chapple of VFW 311 and Walter Sanders of VFW 311.

Also, attending the assembly and being honored for their service was Mr. Roberts, a Grandfather, and Teresa Jones, a mother, of Neil Armstrong students.

The students of Neil Armstrong Elementary sang tunes that commensurate this special occasion. Thank you to all the staff, parents, and students for their participation and support.
